The crazy thing about Luffy’s attack power and Gear 5 is that this massive fist in the latest chapter is his first REAL attack against Kaido in this form and it’s as big as an Onigashima.
I think the only thing left for Luffy to do is master all his techniques and use them at once. An Gear 5 attack that doesn’t need to make contact and destroys from the inside guaranteed to hit due to future sight would be tough to beat.
Being the strongest means Luffy can beat anybody, but the concept is that Luffy’s true power is to attract people into becoming his friends or ally. So I think the final villain would be the strongest (I guess Gorosei + Im) and Luffy, along with his nakamas and support of his (non-combatant) friends would defeat them.
What if kaido wasn’t using a ton of energy to hold up the island how much more powerful would he have been if he hit luffy with 100% power. These are the tons of ifs that exist in one piece that will determine weather he is powerful or not because the only way we can tell that is by getting to see the fight between him and Saturn.
